Bitcoin Volatility
Bitcoin’s volatility is a measurement of how much its price fluctuates relative to the average price in a given time period. Bitcoin’s volatility over a specific period can be calculated using a formula that takes into account its opening price and price variance.
Volatility is important for traders and investors because it can help them identify key opportunities as well as entry and exit points in the market. High volatility periods can often be referred to as high risk (and high reward) periods.
